MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Full time MEDICAL ASSISTANT needed for a busy Pulmonary and Critical Care office in Atlantis, FL. Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office with front and back end duties, including patient care, vitals, administering injections, updating patient records, orders, referrals and authorizations for medications, returning patient calls and communicating test results and follow up care. Must be reliable, caring, professional and able to multi-task. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Excel and Word. PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Part time (3 days a week, approx. 5 hours per day) PHYSICAL THERAPIST for outpatient rehab facility located in Lake Worth, FL.  This position provides physical therapy services to a wide range of adult and geriatric patients.  Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: provide Physical Therapy evaluations for patients and develop the appropriate treatment plans.  Audits patient records as needed. Provides one on one physical therapy treatments.  Candidates should hold a current FL PT license, have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience. MEDICAL ASSISTANT

 Small internal medicine practice near JFK Hospital needs an experienced full time MEDICAL ASSISTANT for front/back office.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a medical office setting with strong EHR/computer skills.  Duties include but not limited to front desk, check in/check out, rooming patients, vitals, ordering tests, data entry, scheduling appointments, answering phones, insurance eligibility/verification. EEG TECH

Busy Neurology practice in Atlantis, FL is currently seeking a Per Diem EEG – Neurodiagnostic Tech to assist in the diagnosis of various brain disorders. Prefer Registered by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (R.EEGT.) Technician is responsible for performing routine and ambulatory electroencephalograms (EEG) in the outpatient setting. Performs diagnostic studies with appropriate documentation and observation of the patient, maintains patient safety and ensures quality care. EEG testing will be performed in accordance with the clinical practice guidelines established by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) and departmental policy and procedures. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and the ability to establish good rapport with patients, physicians and staff. BILLING SPECIALIST – 2 positions

Medical Specialist of the Palm Beaches is looking for a Full Time BILLING SPECIALIST/COLLECTOR in either in Boynton Beach or Delray Beach. Must have experience with Insurance fee schedule, billing guidelines, navigating payer website to research LCD’s & Billing guidelines and contracts. Knowledge of medical terminology is a must. Ability to handle a high volume of work with comfort and confidence. Capability to work as a member of a team and independently with minimal amount of supervision. Knowledge with Athena, ICD-10 and CPT codes for the purpose of billing and collecting. Current comprehension of insurance plans and rules (HMO’s, PPO’s, and Medicare). Must demonstrate excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Understanding of CPTs and Modifiers. PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES

Communicate with physician offices regarding collection of patient debt. Assist contacted patients with a high level of customer service regarding balance origination, resolution, payment plans, and application for assistance. Ensures that offices collect and process co-pays correctly. High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing/collections. Knowledge of Athena is a plus. COMPLIANCE  MANAGER/AUDITOR

The Compliance Manager/Auditor is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of an effective compliance program based on state and federal regulations and coordinating with appropriate divisions throughout the company and externally as required. This includes evaluation of regulations, determination of the operational impact of regulations to the respective business unit, communication of the operational impact to the business unit, education of affected staff, and oversight of the self-monitoring process performed by impacted business units to ensure effective ongoing regulatory compliance. Coordinate with internal and external auditing staff to ensure satisfactory audit outcomes. Research and respond to inquiries and complaints submitted to regulatory agencies by members and providers. Prepare reports to management of compliance statuses.  Maintain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of plan business practices to effectively assess the impact of regulatory requirements.

Candidate must possess auditing experience, understanding of federal, state and local legal rules and regulations, (OIG, CMS, FCSO, etc.).  Collaborate with Corporate Counsel, Compliance Committee, and HR to draft, modify, and implement policies and procedures.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Health Care Administration, Public Policy, or Public Administration, or a combination of applicable work experience, training and course work.  5 – 10 years’ experience with an audit and coding certification.  Five to seven years’ experience in health care regulatory compliance activities or managed health care plan operations, preferably in Medicare or Medicaid.  EHR experience a must, Athena experience a plus.  CHC, CPCO, CPC, CCS, CPMA, or CEMC required.  Please send resume to careers@mspb.md

Per Diem MEDICAL ASSISTANT needed for a PCP/IM and specialty medical group.  Float to offices as needed.  2 years front/back office experience required.  Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel and Word. FRONT DESK

FRONT DESK person needed to float to the various offices within MSPB on an as needed basis (Per Diem).  Duties include Appointment Scheduler, Check In, Check Out, and Insurance Verification.  1-2 years’ experience in a medical setting with clinical or formal medical training in a trade school with a certificate preferred.  Knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 codes helpful.  Excellent oral, written, organizational skills with ability to be flexible and deal effectively with staff, physicians and patients.  Athena experience a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel and Word.  Must type accurately utilizing a computer keyboard.
