ARNP

Full or Part time ARNP for busy Hematology Oncology office. 2+ years’ experience required preferably in Oncology and or Hematology. Experience in Hospital rounding and call schedule. Must have adequate documentation skills in EHR, with knowledge of ordering appropriate labs, pathology and imaging. Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients and families is required. Analytical skills and exercise sound judgment are necessary for this position to evaluate patient status, procedures and monitor quality patient care. Caring individual to perform exams and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instruction of physician with the ability to use clinical judgment to initiate treatments. Must be familiar with government and commercial payor guidelines and pathways. This position requires an organized, adaptable and hardworking individual who values the highest level of patient care. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

MSPB is looking for a F/T Pharmacy Technician.  Must have Florida State or National license. 1-2 years’ experience mixing IV Chemotherapy and Hematological Drugs in a Hematology Oncology practice. Understanding and practice of all safety, HIPAA and OSHA requirements when mixing biologics required. Strong background with HMO ordering, authorizing, and storage. Highly motivated with Organizational and computer skills. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communications skills. Must possess mature and professional demeanor. Ability to work with nurses and scheduling staff to ensure proper inventory. Financial awareness expected.  Advocacy experience a plus. PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Part time PHYSICAL THERAPIST needed for outpatient rehab facility located in Lake Worth, FL. This position provides physical therapy services to a wide range of adult and geriatric patients. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: provide Physical Therapy evaluations for patients and develop the appropriate treatment plans. PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Medical Specialist of the Palm Beaches is looking for a part time Physical Therapist Assistant. This position is very flexible with no weekends.

  • Assist patient preparing for therapy and return trip. Assist with dressing and undressing; removing and putting on braces or supportive equipment, prostheses, crutches, etc.
  • Document all aspects of the treatment in an S.O.A.P. note format. Record data progress during therapy session.
  • Keep patients on task and navigate with a professional attitude through patient originated conflicts.
  • Answer questions from patients regarding their conditions and educate them on it within their scope of practice effectively and efficiently. Measure and track range of motion.
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Answer inquiries from patients
  • Able to lift and support the extremities of patients during range of motions and positioning activities. Straighten and clean rooms.
  • Ability to guard patients with walking and keep them safe at all times while in the clinic.
  • Able to bend and squat with proper body mechanics.
  • Know proper precautions of frequent exposure to Biohazards materials (blood, radiation, and body fluids).
  • Knowledge of how to property lift heavy objects including patients, lead, and equipment.
  • Assist patients by keeping track of counting exercises
  • Clean and prepare equipment for therapy session.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a Physical Therapy Assistant license from the state of Florida and a degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1-2 years experience in a medical setting with clinical or formal medical training in a trade school with a certificate preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of CPT, ICD-10 codes and Athena a plus.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Flexible to handle unexpected daily challenges

DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SCHEDULER

MSPB is looking for a Full Time DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SCHEDULER in Lake Worth. Will need to be accountable for scheduling various complex Imaging procedures and conveying preparations for procedures to patients. The candidate will be responsible for some coding logistics, appropriate CPT and ICD 10 combinations, current and historical patient medical histories, accurate collection of patient demographics and medical insurance information a must. You will be required to work in a fast-paced, high-call volume environment, manage all physician orders in a timely and efficient manner.  Effectively communicate with patients, Imaging Department and referring physician offices. Medical Specialist of the Palm Beaches is looking for a Full Time Medical INSURANCE VERIFICATION clerk for a busy diagnostic imaging facility in Lake Worth, FL. Medical Specialist of the Palm Beaches is looking for a Full Time BILLING SPECIALIST/COLLECTOR in our Boynton Beach office.  Must have experience with insurance fee schedules, billing guidelines, navigating payer website to research LCD’s & billing guidelines and contracts. This person will also be responsible for answering the phones, patient check in and scheduling. Knowledge of medical terminology is a must. Ability to handle a high volume of work with comfort and confidence. BENEFITS COORDINATOR

Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches (MSPB), is looking for a Full-Time BENEFITS COORDINATOR for a busy Cardio office located in Atlantis, FL. A positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude is required to succeed in this role. 2-3 years’ prior experience in a medical office setting is also required. Duties will include verifying patient benefits and managing patient accounts according to MSPB standards. This position will verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, and determine patient coverage/financial responsibility for services. The ideal candidate will ensure all benefits are checked prior to scheduled appointments; verify and review coverage with patient and determine estimated financial responsibility of patient; and will create payment arrangement schedules as necessary. They will obtain insurance referrals or authorizations, ensuring all referrals are obtained prior to patient’s appointment. Comprehension of insurance plans and rules (HMO’s, PPO’s, MDCR) is required. Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD 10 is critical. EHR/Athena experience is a plus. NURSE PRACTITIONER

Busy Internal Medicine office looking for a Part Time Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Boynton Beach, FL. M/W/F preferred. 8-4. Can be a new graduate. Required qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Master’s degree in Nursing, and/or post-masters.  Must hold current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida and have prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply.  This position requires an organized, adaptable and hardworking individual who values the highest level of patient care.  Qualified candidates must have a strong desire to learn new skills, be an effective listener and be an efficient provider of care.  You must be able to communicate effectively and personably with patients and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families to ensure patient needs are met timely and accurately. You will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to Physicians to offer exceptional health care services to our patients. Clinical duties involve both direct (in person) and indirect (via phone and/or on-line) patient care activities requiring complex clinical knowledge and skills.  The ARNP is expected to have competent observational, clinical, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to meet patient needs and contribute to a positive care experience and work environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients and families is required. Analytical skills and exercise sound judgment are necessary for this position to evaluate patient status, procedures and monitor quality patient care.  Requires 2 years’ experience of direct patient care and have a valid Florida driver license. Experience with electronic medical records and strong computer skills are preferred.
