Ms. Allison Pagan is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with more than 15 years of direct patient care experience. She uses a creative and enthusiastic approach to treating patients using specific diagnostic guidelines in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various levels of Cardiac illness.

 

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Brockport in 1996, she went back to school to begin her nursing career in 2001 where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and was admitted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. From thereon, Ms. Pagan’s professional career has been focused primarily on care for patients in acute settings. She continued her education by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester in 2006.  She has since dedicated her career to caring for Cardiac patients with CHF, Coronary Artery and Valve Disease.

 

After nearly a decade as a Cardiac nurse, Ms. Pagan set her sights on achieving her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and achieved that personal goal in 2015 by graduating from South University.  From 2015 to 2018, Ms. Pagan practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner for a large Internal Medicine group.

 

Ms. Pagan has been a member of the MSPB Cardiology team since 2018, where she cares for patients admitted at Bethesda East, Bethesda West, JFK Medical Center, JFK North, Palms West Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital and Wellington Regional.
