Hermide Agenor Placide is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with specializations in Adult Gerontology, Family Practice, and Psychiatric Mental Health. She offers over a decade of advanced clinical experience across multiple specialties, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Ms. Placide began her career as a nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), providing specialized critical care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions for over ten years. From 2016 to 2021, she served as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, expanding her expertise in comprehensive inpatient management. Between 2021 and 2025, she practiced in pain management while continuing to serve as a Hospitalist, contributing to improved quality of care through individualized, evidence-based approaches. Currently, Ms. Placide is a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, leveraging her critical care background and enthusiasm for cardiovascular health. She is particularly dedicated to patient education, empowering individuals to understand and actively participate in their own health care.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Ms. Placide is committed to education and has a keen interest in nutrition, holistic wellness, and lifestyle medicine. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys yoga, fitness activities, and singing. Ms. Placide continues to positively impact her patients' lives while advancing holistic health and promoting educational initiatives.
