Dr. Jose Ojea is a Primary Care Physician focusing on Internal Medicine , Hospital Medicine and Prevention Care. 

 

Dr. Ojea graduated from medical school at Universidad Mundial, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1985.  He finished his post-graduate training and residency at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Drexel Hill, PA in 1989.  Dr. Ojea has been a solo practitioner since 1990.
 

 

Dr. Ojea is an active member at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL since 1995 and has been the Family Medicine Division Chief at JFK since 2009.  From 2011 to 2012, Dr. Ojea was Chief of Staff at JFK.  He was on the Board of Trustees at JFK from 2010-2013.  
 

Dr. Ojea has been voted one of South Florida’s Top Docs in 1999,2004,2008,2010,2013, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.  He was also chosen as a Top Doc in Boca Life Magazine and Palm Beach Magazine in 2018, 2019 and 2020.  In 2017, Dr. Ojea received the JFK Medical Staff Recognition Award.  Additionally, he received the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award 2002-2005.
