Dr. Nathan Watson has been a member of Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches Primary Care team since 2018. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Association in Internal Medicine. He is a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He has been awarded the Web MD Preferred Provider Award, Vitals Preferred Provider Award, and Healthgrades Patient Favorite Award. In addition, Best In Florida Magazine presented Dr. Watson with the Excellence In Medicine Award and has named him a Florida Top Doctor multiple years in a row.

 

Dr. Watson was born and raised in Independence, Kentucky, spending his early years working on his family’s tobacco farm. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and then went on graduate from medical school at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then moved to Florida to successfully complete his Internal Medicine Residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center.

 

Believing that health is not merely an absence of disease, Dr. Watson enjoys providing a holistic approach in caring for his patients with a strong focus on preventative medicine. As a practicing internist, he treats a wide variety of conditions but has special interests in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cardiometabolic medicine, and medical weight loss.

 

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Watson enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, their four sons, and pet boxer.
