Dr. Razan Alif is Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.  She joined the Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches Primary Care team in July of 2020 after completing her training at Florida Atlantic University.  She is a Primary Care Physician focusing on Internal Medicine, Prevention Care, Hospital Medicine, Geriatrics, as well as Performance and Quality Improvement.

 

Dr. Alif has an interest in treating diabetes, heart disease, and rheumatologic conditions.  She is a diagnostician with experience in the diagnosis of the complex and rare conditions.  During her training she published numerous case reports on conditions such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren’s and other rare autoimmune diseases.  She also took part in multiple quality-improvement projects, which were implemented at one of the three hospitals where she trained.

 

Dr. Alif studied biology and earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Miami. She completed a masters degree in biomedical science at Florida Atlantic University.  She then went on to medical school at The American University of Antigua, where she completed the last two years of her clinical rotations at The University of Maryland and Emory.  Dr. Alif completed her Internal Medicine training through Florida Atlantic University at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Bethesda Hospital East and Delray Medical Center.

 

Dr. Alif sees patients from central and south Palm Beach County including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton, Wellington, Greenacres, Lake Worth, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens West Palm and Loxahatchee. She speaks English, Arabic and conversational Spanish.

 

Dr. Alif enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and the outdoors.

 

Dr. Alif is accepting new patients and sees patients at Dr. Peter Schwartz’s Wellington office.
