Ms. Sheri Keehn is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who works with Dr. Roberto von Sohsten. She is Board Certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has also earned the National Institute of Health Stroke Certification.

 

Ms. Keehn is a South Florida native with roots in Lantana. She graduated from Santaluces High School in 1999, earning scholastic achievement honors for being in the top 10% of her graduating class.

 

Ms. Keehn went on to graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003. Before returning to school to complete her nursing studies, she worked as a Pharmacy technician for more than 10 years with both Eckerd Drugs and JFK Medical Center.

 

After earning her nursing degree in 2010, Ms. Keehn remained with JFK Medical Center, but left the pharmacy to serve as a Critical Care RN, where she provided compassionate care and education to patients in the areas of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. She was admitted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.    

 

Ms. Keehn cares for patients admitted to Bethesda East, Bethesda West, JFK Medical Center, JFK North Medical Center, Palms West Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, and Wellington Regional Medical Center.

She speaks English and Spanish.

 

Outside of her cardiovascular practice, Ms. Keehn enjoys supporting community service efforts as well as singing, cooking and gardening.
