Danielle was born in the province of Quebec. She always dreamed about becoming an American citizen and realized that dream in 2004.

 

She received her under graduate Education in Canada, an associate degree as a registered nurse in 1980, college degree of Sciences 1988 and a Bachelor degree in Nursing Sciences from University Laval  1991.

 

She worked as a Registered Nurse in Canada in many different hospitals settings and specialty units including Emergency Room, Critical Care, Renal Transplant, and Maximum-Security Jail. She traveled all the way to Baffin Island as a flight Nurse doing Emergency transport to underserved population from Kujjuak and others small villages around the Bay.

 

In 1993 she obtained a working visa and was hired to work in a small hospital in Pinellas Park in Florida. Her knowledge of English was minimal at first, but she was experienced and continued to work in the state of Florida including Tampa General Hospital in Cardiology. 

 

In December 2000, she graduated from the University of Tampa as a Family Nurse Practitioner and worked in cardiology.

 

In 2008, she relocated to the State of Maine to be closer to her aging parents in Quebec. She worked for a group of cardiologists at Maine Medical Center for 13 years where she gained further experience in cardiac and renal transplants. After both her parents passed away, she returned to Florida where her “heart” always has been in the fall of 2022.

 

Danielle has a cheerful, positive attitude.  Her patients and their family, and her co-workers enjoy having her around.

 

Danielle enjoys nature, seeing Palms trees, warm weather, the ocean, swimming, and tennis. She likes history, music, dancing, and cooking.  She loves dogs and has been a volunteer in animal shelters over the years. She always had dogs growing up and currently she has a Soft Coat Wheaten Terrier that she rescued in 2010.

 

Danielle understands the importance of providing excellent care and customer service for all our patients, including the family and referral physicians.
