Ms. Elisangela Bordas is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner at MSPB Internal Medicine since 2023. Elisangela is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

 

Elisangela Bordas was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and has lived in Palm Beach County for 16 years. Elisangela's commitment to lifelong learning pushes her to remain current with the latest healthcare advancements, enabling her to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. She graduated from Broward College with an Associate of Science of Nursing. Elisangela decided to further her education by attending Florida Atlantic University and graduating with a Bachelor of Science of Nursing. After several years as a registered nurse in Palm Beach County, working in the telemetry unit and emergency department, she pursued her educational goal. She attended Nova Southeastern University, graduating with a dual degree: Master of Science of Nursing and Doctorate of Nurse Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As part of Elisangela's Doctorate of Nurse Practice degree, she completed quantitative research titled Enhancing Self-efficacy among Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease by Health Promotion. As a result of her research study, she was able to correlate the positive effects of health promotion on increasing a patient's self-efficacy levels toward chronic disease self-management.
